Our people make Oakfields the friendly and nurturing school that it is; everyone who works here is known, valued and part of our school family. We combine a friendly and nurturing environment, with a commitment to excellence to make it an exciting and dynamic place for all. There is excellent camaraderie amongst our staff, who share ideas and learning. All staff are offered on-going professional training and development.

We currently educate 213 children, aged 3 to 11 and have a progressive and energetic approach to teaching and learning. Our staff are committed to achieving the highest standards and contribute generously to the wider school life. The school, which is set in a Grade II-listed building surrounded by seven acres of beautiful grounds, has some wonderful facilities and resources, including a heated indoor swimming pool.

Safeguarding

Cognita Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment. Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. Appointment is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activity (if the candidate has lived in the UK and/or criminal policy checks for all other countries lived or worked in for a period of 3 months or more since the age of 16 (irrespective of whether they worked in those countries).

Admissions Manager

We are seeking a qualified and motivated professional to join our team as Admissions Manager. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the first impressions and experiences of families seeking a place at Oakfields.

As the primary liaison between the school and prospective parents, you’ll guide a seamless, parent-focused journey from initial enquiry to enrolment. Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team, teaching staff, and professionals to infuse passion and a dedicated parent-focused mindset throughout the school. Your excellent relationship building, and communication skills will ensure that whole school understands their part in growing the school to be better than ever.
