I attended Oakfields Preparatory School from Kindergarten 2 at the age of 3, until year 6, at age 11.

I will forever be appreciative of the wonderful foundation I had at Oakfields, not just academically but in every area of my life.

The atmosphere at Oakfields was friendly,  nurturing and encouraging. Everyone was made to feel important. I had a lot of opportunities to grow as a person, I learned excellent work ethics, the value of hard work, persistence and that putting in your best effort is more important than winning- all of these important values have been extremely beneficial for me during my transition to secondary school.

The children at Oakfields are really lucky to have such a great start to school life. There is a positive, encouraging, friendly and family feel all around the school and after all they have done for me, it certainly made an easier (and not so scary) transition to my chosen Senior school, especially in the preparation for my exam and interview.

Oakfields prepared me for Brentwood School by opening my eyes to a higher standard of education, after spending my infant years at a state infant school. Oakfields gave me the pride in my school and education to want to continue that into my senior years. The opportunity of being Sports Captain and representing Oakfields in many events gave me the competitive spirit needed to succeed.
